Antioch V.F.D. Performs Apparatus Pump Testing
Monday January 9, 2006, Antioch V.F.D. performed pump testing on its fire engines. Testing the pumps on an annual basis ensures that the pumps are operating effectively and efficiently, and can assist in identifying any potential problems in advance of a mechanical failure.
Having the pumps tested and certified is a portion of the fire department's ISO rating, which assists in lowering your insurance ratings.
